
ST. PAUL, Minn. — The People of Color Interpersonal Therapy Group, verified by Psychology Today, meets Mondays at 4:30 p.m. in Suite 400 of the Hamm Clinic, 408 Saint Peter Street, downtown St. Paul, MN 55102.
The sessions for adults deal with issues depression, peer relationships, racial identity and more with integrative treatment orientation.
The group co-leader, psychologist Anesh Patel, PsyD, LP, describes the group is for people of color and is aimed at addressing the impacts of racism, micro-aggressions on the mental health of people of color. The group also brings in the numerous benefits that interpersonal process group can add to one’s life such as learning how to create and deepen relationships, becoming more aware of the impact we have on those closest to us, and feeling a greater sense of hope.
