NEW YORK (Nov. 9, 2016) — Chinamerica Radio presented Brooklyn Nets tickets to the winner of the Taiwan Basketball Tournament following competition on Nov. 5 at the Chinatown YMCA.
The winning team, Joie de Vivre, received tickets to a future Brooklyn Nets game at Barclay Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The team of John Hsu, Vince Lin and David Liu emerged from a field of 18 teams of three players each in a double elimination format.
The tournament was held in cooperation with the New York chapter of Taiwanese-American Professionals, The Brooklyn Nets recently begun advertising with Chinamerica Radio following the recent signing with point guard Jeremy “Linsanity” Lin to a multi-year agreement and whose family hails from Taiwan.
