ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Hmong American Farmers Association (HAFA) is hosting a steam bun night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 at Kitchen on The Bluff, 705 East Third Street, St. Paul, MN 55106. The event is open to the public.
This “value added program” of HAFA is in part to network for food business ventures, financial assistance and open job positions. Attendees can explore careers in food and agriculture industries that are currently looking to hire. The event will offer an opportunity to be introduced to various local financial organizations that assist in financial counseling.
Special guest chef Shirley Yang with help with instruction. She is the head chef at Swede Hollow, owns her own catering company and has hosted several special events specifically for the Hmong community.
Attendees will get hands on experience with making their own steamed buns. We encourage the public to attend and learn more about different food venture opportunities.
