MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 4, 2016) — A community vigil for Richard Ambers, aka “Sota Boss” will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, November 4, at the intersection of Bryant Avenue South and West 48th Street in Minneapolis.
Ambers, 31, was found dead of a gunshot wound inside a vehicle near the location on Oct. 29.
Friends describe Ambers as a hard working, loving and dedicated family man. He leaves behind a wife, Keila, and three children, Richard, 12, Khalicia, 9, and Kierah, 6. A Go Fund Me account is being set up under the name Ambers’ Family.
