unnamedIn 2011 Pakou Hang founded the Hmong American Farmers Association (HAFA) to serve, support, and advocate for Hmong American farmers and their families. It has multiple research and demonstration plots to provide continuing education in sustainable agricultural practices to its member-farmers. This farm is also the subject of MMAA’s current exhibition Seeds of Change: A Portrait of the Hmong American Farmers Association. Join the MMAA on an exclusive historical tour of the HAFA farm led by Executive Director and Co-founder Pakou Hang and HAFA Communications Specialist Winnie Zwick as they discuss its history while highlighting our state’s agricultural traditions.
