MINNEAPOLIS (May 3, 2016) — The Asian American Studies Program of the University of Minnesota — Twin Cities campus, will celebrate its graduating seniors and recognize the work of our APIA Studies minors, graduate students and faculty with an AAS Recognition Celebration from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Heller Hall room 1210, on the U of MN West Bank.
There will refreshments and entertainment following a short program to honor graduating seniors, recognize our Asian American Partners for Tomorrow mentees and mentors, and celebrate the ongoing work in AAA, Family and Friends welcome.
A spoken word poetry performance by Kenneth Gonzales, and a clip of Hmong dance by Magnolia Yang-Sao-Yia will follow the recognition ceremony.
