Seeds of Change: A Portrait of the Hmong American Farmers Association, co-presented with the Hmong American Farmers Association (HAFA), brings together a collection of photographs and video created by multi-media artist Mike Hazard.

The exhibition documents a year in the life of Hmong American farmers working on a farm run by HAFA in Vermillion Township, Minnesota. Hazard’s photographs highlight the rich culture and heritage of our state’s Hmong community and the fruits of their efforts to cultivate success among first, second, and third generation American immigrants.

MMAA Project Space is located at the the Pioneer Endicott (enter on the corner of 4th and Robert Streets), 141 E. 4th Street, St. Paul, MN 55101.

Member Preview: Thursday, May 12, 2016, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., program at 6:15 p.m.
Members are invited to attend an exclusive preview, including an artist talk by photographer and storyteller Mike Hazard. Complimentary drinks and refreshments will be served.

Public Reception: 7 – 9 p.m.
