MINNEAPOLIS — Japan America Society of Minnesota will feature print maker and installation artist Ayomi Yoshida at its next Nichibei Lecture Series event Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016 at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, 2400 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. with the talk starting at 7 p.m. in the Friends Community Room.

Yoshida will speak on “The Spirit of Sakura: My Artwork and Family Legacy” at M.I.A. She is currently having an exhibition of her work at Carlton College called “Cherry Blossoms Fall.” The talk will be in Japanese and interpreted in English.
