Chinese acrobatic ensemble returns to Minneapolis for one performance at Orchestra Hall on February 21, accompanied by a live Chinese orchestra

MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 29, 2016) — The Peking Acrobats, an Award-winning Chinese acrobatic ensemble, returns to Orchestra Hall at 1 p.m., Feb. 21, 2016 to perform their 30th Anniversary Tour program.
This ensemble has been astounding audiences in Minnesota and around the globe since 1986 with everything from trick cycling and juggling to precision tumbling and contortionism. This performance is accompanied by a live Chinese orchestra and includes acrobatic acts such as Diving Daring Do, Bodacious Body Balancing and Bicycle Pagoda.
The performance is held at Orchestra Hall in downtown Minneapolis on Sunday, February 21, at 1 p.m. with tickets priced from $25 to $60. The Peking Acrobats
Celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, the Peking Acrobats have redefined audience perceptions of Chinese acrobatics, an art that dates back more than 2,000 years. The ensemble has toured throughout the world to great acclaim and has appeared onGuinness Book Primetime TV where they set the world record for the Human Chair Stack. They also recently made their Hollywood Bowl debut. In this program, they are accompanied by a live Chinese orchestra, which plays traditional Chinese instruments in harmony with the Acrobats’ awe-inspiring feats.
