In 2009, DASNY spent more than $219 million with MWBE construction contractors and vendors. It has since expanded its procurement of financial, legal and other professional service providers. It also has more than 20 state agencies and authorities participating to create even more potential opportunities for participants.

Paul T. Williams, Jr., president, DASNY, said they expect to exceed attendance at last year’s conference of more than 850 professionals. Both program tracks will include sessions on doing business with DASNY, as well as informational programs on public sector procurement processes and opportunities.
