The Minnesota Minority Education Partnership, Inc., a nonprofit organization with a mission to increase success for students of color in Minnesota schools, colleges and universities, will hold its Frontiers in Racial Equity Conference: Defining Education Policy & Practice conference Nov. 18, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Coffman Memorial Union, University of Minnesota, 300 Washington Avenue SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455.
The conference will gather educators, business people, elected officials, community members and policymakers who will learn about successful programs and models that have resulted in academic success for students of color.
