Intermedia Arts will hold its Summer Kickoff event on June 19, 2010, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 2822 Lyndale Avenue S., Minneapolis.
The annual event designed to “get summer started” and introduce its space and programs to the community celebration that includes live entertainment including a DJ-dance party, art-making activities including button-making and screen-printing, as well as the interactive gallery installation exhibit and a BBQ feast.
This is an opportunity to view the new community spaces and latest art-on-the-walls, meet new staff members, and be the first to find out about the amazing new programs and events planned for this year.
Intermedia Arts is a multidisciplinary, multicultural arts organization that works to push the boundaries and definitions of artistic excellence. From graffiti art to performance art to digital technology and spoken word, it works from the community up to unearth and enliven new and emerging artists and art forms.
