The annual commemoration of the Fall of Saigon Anniversary will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010, from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Minnesota State Capitol-Upper Mall, 75 Rev Dr Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, St Paul, MN 55155.
The event is to commemorate the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces and civilian personnel, along with allies of the United States, Australia and others that sacrificed their lives for the cause of freedom for the Vietnamese people during the War in Southeast Asia. It will also honor those whose lives were lost in Communist prison camps and in the journeys for freedom after the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975.
