Conceptual artist Qi Peng will have his work featured in the Reader’s Art 10th Anniversary exhibition at Susan Hensel Gallery, 3441 Cedar Avenue, Minneapolis. The opening reception will be held March 12, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.This year exhibition is guest-curated by NYC-based artist/designer/gallerist Jon Coffelt, who organized 51 artists ranging from the internationally renowned to the locally emerging.

Qi Peng (www.qipeng.net) was born in Queens, New York in 1976, and graduated Yale and received his Master’s Degree from Vanderbilt. Today, he divides his time between Salt Lake City and New York City.

Qi describes himself as a conceptual artist who uses painting, photography and paper art to “executes ‘interviews’ as a form of collaborative portraits with various art professionals and also uses primary/secondary documents to examine the contemporary art market.”

A special poetry reading hosted by Georgia Greeley w/ members of the Laurel Poetry Collective on April 16, 7:00 p.m.
