US China Business Connections – Twin Cities will hold its its next Networking and Breakfast Meeting on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Minneapolis Community & Technical College, 1415 Hennepin Avenue. The topic of this month’s event will be “China: World’s Largest Exporter Goes Lean.”
The guest speaker will be Paul Krier, Lean Champion for Cummins Power Generation Business Unit.
Lean is a system that develops people and enables organizations to continuously improve through waste elimination. Through a combination of education and application employees work together to develop processes which reduce the physical and mental stress of their daily work while improving business performance and customer value.
Networking and breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. with the presentation followed by time to ask questions from 8:40 to 9:30 a.m.
There is a $25 non-member fee. Students may attend free of charge. There is free parking at the MCTC Ramp across from the school. Enter at the left gate by the security window and tell the staff person you are with the China Group.
