I would like to thank the residents of Senate District 50 for attending four town meetings held in February in New Brighton, Arden Hills, Columbia Heights and Fridley.The meetings focused on a discussion about the state’s fiscal situation and how to solve the state’s budget deficit. Since many people don’t have the time to visit the Capitol during the legislative session, the town meetings gave local residents an opportunity to talk face to face with me to voice their legislative concerns and priorities.
As I appreciate hearing the legislative concerns of my constituents, I have posted a legislative survey on my Senate website to find out what issues are most important to those living in Senate District 50.
