The Asian Student Association of Century College is hosting an Asian Appreciation Day to celebrate the organization’s 30th Birthday March 19, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Century College Theatre W1051, 3300 Century Avenue North, White Bear Lake.The public is invited to this free celebration of the three-decade old collaboration between the Asian Student Association by sharing the diversity of Asian cultures and ethnicities on our campus and community.
Enjoy the food and visit with venders before cultural entertainment begins with local Asian American performers including Mu Daiko Taiko from Mu Performing Arts; Ha Family Entertainment Lion Dance Team; the Waddhanak Dance Troupe Coconut Dance; Hmong Palace Dance School Dancers, and vocalist Cicily Kong.
There will also be a traditional fashion show presented by the Hmong Pageant Organization.
