U.S. – China Business Connections will hold its next Networking and Breakfast Meeting on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at Minneapolis Community & Technical College, 1415 Hennepin Avenue.
Special guest presenter, Raymond Liu, Ph.D. will speak on the new developments in China’s organic agriculture and agricultural pollution reduction.
Rapid development in modern agriculture has caused great concerns in agricultural pollution. Liu said this is called the agricultural non-point source of pollution (NPS). Current discussion will focus on the challenges how to balance the agri. productivity and environmental safety. New trends in China’s organic agriculture industry will be introduced.
An optional networking event will follow the presentation.
There is a $25 feel for non-members. Students may attend free of charge. Free parking is available in the MCTC Ramp across from the school on Hennepin Avenue. Enter at the left gate by the security window ant tell the staff person you are with the China Group.
