WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 12, 2013) — Ron Mori, AARP’s Multicultural Markets and Engagement Manager, is among the ten honorees who received a National Asian Pacific American Corporate Achievement Award and the individual recipient of the Community Service Award on Friday in South San Francisco.
Hosted by OCA – Asian Pacific American Advocates, a national membership-driven organization dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans, the award recognizes outstanding corporate citizens and leaders.
Mori has been instrumental in increasing AARP’s social impact work and membership outreach within Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Mori is also an active member of AARP’s Asian Strategic Engagement Employee Resource Group and a Chapter Board Member of the Japanese American Citizens League in Washington, D.C.
