Washington, D.C. (Nov. 23, 2011) — The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association successfully held its 23rd Annual Convention, titled “Sustainability” November 17-20 in Atlanta. The event was attended by over 1200 Asian Pacific American attorneys, judges, and legal scholars from around the country.
During the Anniversary Gala and Celebration Dinner, held Saturday, November 19, NAPABA installed its incoming Board of Governors for the 2011-2012 bar year. NAPABA’s newly elected Officers, Regional Governors, and At-Large members were sworn into office by Judge Ronald S.W. Lew, U.S. District Court Judge for the Central District of California.
The NAPABA Board of Governors is comprised of the Executive Committee, which consists of nine elected Officers, the Regional Governors, who represent the nine NAPABA regions across the United States, and four At-Large members.

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) is the national association of Asian Pacific American attorneys, judges, law professors and law students. NAPABA represents the interests of over 40,000 attorneys and 63 local Asian Pacific American bar associations. Its members represent solo practitioners, large firm lawyers, corporate counsel, legal service and non-profit attorneys, and lawyers serving at all levels of government. NAPABA continues to be a leader in addressing civil rights issues confronting Asian Pacific American communities.
