Hinduism has a beautiful option and Yogic path for agnostic and atheists to observe the ultimate reality without being attached to any belief system. Hinduism is a spiritual option for believers or non-believers to work toward a higher state of oneness — in a common humanistic mission in the 21st century.
From the ancient time Hindu civilization allowed exploration of truth in multi-plane of consciousness or parallel approach or multiple approaches to realize the absolute. That is why we can see both reason and logical approach to seek spiritual truth and also pure devotional approach to seek spiritual truth both co-existed in India from the ancient time.
Unfortunately some part of the western world thinks every aspect of ancient knowledge of India is pure Hindu spiritual knowledge and nothing to do with scientific wisdom, but in reality both existed as part of ancient Hindu exploration of Dharma.
The word “Dharma” also means properties and therefore scientific exploration to understand the properties of different substance in nature, and life would be also part of exploration of Dharma to realize the natural laws governing both human life and the universe.
Even modern India never bothered to invest any time or effort to advance those ancient Hindu scientific discoveries. That is the biggest problem with pure mechanical intellectually deficient western influence on India. I want the best of India and the best of America to converge so that both nations can get maximum benefits from my knowledge being directly associated with both societies.
As universal Hindu thinker and modern Guru, I prefer to serve the whole humanity. However, to achieve that goal people of all faiths and all cultures also have to embrace my analysis of the ultimate reality or they will continue to remain stuck in the assumption based dogma of religion. Hindu civilization gave birth to enlightened thinkers in every new century to offer something new while preserving the best of the old in order to maintain continuous spiritual evolution as the mission of Hinduism and Yogic path of life.
That Yogic path is called Jnana Yoga or the path of intellectual discrimination to realize the ultimate reality or Absolute. This path teaches humans to observe the real nature of every phenomenon in this universe and teaches our human brain to master critical observation skills to analyze what is apparent, what is superficial and what is transient, and then gradually help the mind to grasp the subtle through power of elimination during observation in a zero-thought state.
This is the most difficult path of Yoga and that is why it is not very popular even in the modern highly technologically advanced world. When the western world assumes science or scientific thinking originated in the west they should learn the Jnana Yogic path Indian invented in the ancient time. Then they would realize why Yoga as a discipline is not purely subjective observation of reality or subjective experience to define the reality. India also invented objective approach in Yogic exploration of life and that path is called Jnana Yoga.
That is why I would recommend scientists, engineers, and people working in the various modern technologies to also learn this path from my objective approach to Yoga as a science. Then they would realize why ancient India invented the very idea of science and self-experimentation to ascertain the objective reality of life.
This approach of Yoga is very difficult and requires tremendous clarity of mind. It is not for those who prefer to assume the ultimate reality based on predefined belief system. Saint and sinners alike would find this path to be equally difficult for them if they continue to embrace any bias, prejudice, superstition or other limitations to their thought process.
I do not wish to underestimate a person’s innate ability to learn or improve clarity of mind. That is why this knowledge can be offered to any sincere student but they have to feel comfortable to delete some of the old assumption from their head if they really like to master this branch of scientific approach to Yoga.
Those who are God believers should also accept the possibility than God can reincarnate as a scientist-Yogi so that the atheists and agnostics also can begin to see the validity of my modern Hindu idea of oneness and cultivating inner peace without disconnected from the scientific thinking in modern society. Then they will see over time even the most extreme atheists and most determined agnostics will find this approach to Yoga is fascinating for them to accept the vast knowledge and philosophy of Hinduism to create a sense of oneness and peace in this modern world without assuming that they are being converted into something they do not want to be.
I strongly feel that to convert an ordinary brain to an extraordinary brain requires observation skills and precision of thought. People of any faith or no faith can take a spiritually evolutionary step in the continuous process of humanity until the end of time.
