Asian Indian Family Wellness (SEWA-AIFW) is responding to the demand for health needs and services and is extending its Free health Clinic to The Sikh Society of Minnesota.
For the past three years SEWA-AIFW has sustained its health monthly clinic at the Maple Grove Hindu Mandir of Minnesota. The program has prove to very successful in serving the needs of many in the community who would otherwise not have found health care as immigrants and parents of immigrants.
The backbone of the SEWA-AIFW programs is its volunteers. Uncounted volunteer hours by physicians and other professionals have contributed to the success of this health Clinics.
Two health clinics will be held. The first will be Sept.18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sikh Society of Minnesota Gurduwara, 9000 W. Bloomington Freeway, Minneapolis, MN 55432. Services provided with by physicians, dentist and community resources. For directions and information call 952-888-2705.
The second health clinic event will be held Sept.24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hindu Mandir, 10530 Troy Lane North, Maple Grove, MN 55311. Physicians and other health and social resources will be available on site. For information and directions call 763-234-8301.
