Health providers who are Karen and work with the Karen people to attend, especially those concerned with mental health, are encourage to attend the Supporting the Mental Health Needs of the Karen Community on Friday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Wilder Center Auditorium, 451 Lexington Pkwy. N, Saint Paul.
The workshop will count as 2.5 hours of CEU (certificate provided). There is no cost to attend and there will be free parking and refreshments provided.
The workshop provides an overview and research findings of Wilder/KOM ORR grant. It will provide best practices information to promote positive mental health outcomes, and a discussion and interactive session to form collaborations among community resources.
