TAMPA, Fla. — Mitt Romney’s Foreign, Defense, and Judicial Policy Director, Alex Wong, joins a growing list of distinguished guests for API Leaders Rally to Support Mitt Romney at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida.
Asian American and Pacific Islander Reception and Rally for Romney at the Republican National Convention will be held Sunday, August 26, 2012, from 7 p.m. to 8: 30 p.m. at the Mirror Lake Lyceum, 737 — 3rd Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33701.
On Sunday, Asian American and Pacific Islander leaders along with a host committee of Republican leaders from across the nation will host a reception and rally in support of Mitt Romney for President at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida.
The growing list of distinguished participants will include Alex Wong, Director of Foreign, Defense, and Judicial Policy for the Romney for President campaign. Wong joins a list of participants which includes Mitt Romney’s top Policy Director, Dr. Lanhee Chen, Ph.D.
Former U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao, is the National Chair of Asian American and Pacific Islanders for Romney.
The remaining board members include Michelle Park Steel, Vice Chair, California State Board of Equalization; Jim Gilmore, former Governor of Virginia; Kerry Healey, former Lt. Governor of Massachusetts; Ed Royce, U.S. Representative, California; Anh “Joseph” Cao, former U.S. Representative, Louisiana; Dr. Lanhee Chen, PhD., Policy Director for the Romney for President campaign; Alex Wong, Director of Foreign, Defense, and Judicial Policy for the Romney for President campaign.
From 7:00 p.m. bus service will be provided from Tropicana Field to the Mirror Lake Lyceum. Buses will travel continuously until 9:00 p.m. when the last bus leaves Mirror Lake Lyceum for Tropicana Field.
