ST. PAUL (May 3, 2013) — Linh Xiong, Zong Xiong, and Pa Kou Yang, all of Saint Paul, became members of Metropolitan State Psi Chi at an April 13 recognition ceremony.
Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating and maintaining excellence in scholarship and advancing the science of psychology.
Metropolitan state was awarded a Psi Chi Chapter in 1999. Psi Chi membership is reserved for those who have achieved academic excellence and rank among the highest in their class. In addition to academic recognition, Psi Chi is committed to offering a climate congenial to members’ creative development. Psi Chi sponsors scholarly activities at the local, regional and national levels.
