ST. PAUL (Nov. 15, 2012) — A dead duck left at the front door of the Center for Hmong Studies at Concordia University on Wednesday has staff wondering who left it there and why?

A student discovered the duck and alerted staff. The founding director of the organization was looking for feedback on what it could mean.

“I hope this is not racially motivated,” said CHS Director Lee Pao Xiong on his Facebook Page.

The Center for Hmong Studies formed in 2004 and soon after university President Dr. Robert Holst designated the on-campus home meant for him to house the organization.
