ST. PAUL (March 19, 2015) — Metropolitan State University announced Monday that the university has been chosen as a recipient of this year’s Campus of Integrity Award by the International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI). The award honors institutions demonstrating exceptional efforts to promote and maintain the values of academic integrity.
Metropolitan State recently implemented a new academic integrity policy designed to uphold the highest integrity standards across campus. In selecting Metropolitan State, the ICAI considered how the policy is not simply a corrective measure, but a dedication to educational intervention.
The ICAI awarded four recipients, including Metropolitan State, on Feb. 28 at the 2015 ICAI Annual Conference in Vancouver, B.C. The other recipients included Indiana University, Kennesaw State University and LDS Business College.
Metropolitan State University, a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, is America’s premier university for lifelong learning, providing unsurpassed, competitive academic and professional degree programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels while maintaining affordability.
