Washington, D.C. — The Asian Pacific American Republican Network says the Republican National Convention from August 28-30 in Tampa, FL, clearly showed who Asian Pacific Americans should support to lead our country forward in this difficult time.
The Network says Romney extols America’s spirit of freedom and entrepreneurship and to build our own businesses and careers.
The Network says Romney believes that hard-working individuals should keep more of their earnings instead of funding inefficient and wasteful government programs. Therefore, taxes should be kept as low as possible.
The Network says Romney believes that the burdens placed on business by the Obama Administration has diminished business’ job-creating capabilities during this challenging economic time. The Network says Romney would work to ensure government bureaucracy and regulation of business are streamlined and fair.
The Network says Romney supports expediting family reunification as part of a reform of our flawed immigration system.
The Network says Romney opposes how Obama has put our Nation in great economic peril by increasing our national debt by $5 trillion. This also means a greater burden on the next generations – higher taxes and fewer government resources. Romney/Ryan would work towards reducing our federal budget deficit and our national debt.
The Network says Romney supports individuals making their own health care decisions, not having the government make them for us, as under the Obama program.
