Vesak is the most important day for all Buddhists around the world. They commemorate it (Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and passing away) by practicing generosity, morality and meditation.
7:30 a.m. with Observance of Eight Precepts & Worship, followed by 8 a.m. Vesak Dhamma Sermon; 9 a.m. Tea Break; 9:15 a.m. Meditation; 10:45 a.m. Buddha Puja; 11:15 a.m. Diva Dana (Lunch Break); 1:30 p.m. Dhamma Discussion; 2:30 p.m. Meditation; 3 p.m. Blessings and Termination; 3:15 p.m. Tea Break; 3:30 p.m. Devotional Songs; and 4 p.m. End.
