Since that fateful day in 1959, Tibetan Women’s Uprising day is commemorated in over 52 countries worldwide.
Approximately 100 community members will participate in commemorating Tibetan Women’s Uprising Day with a candlelight vigil, ceremonial prayers and a rallying procession through downtown Minneapolis.
