A screening of documentary film “The House I Live In” will be held Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, 6 p.m., at St. Anthony Main Theatre, 115 SE Main Street, Minneapolis.
“The House I Live In” provides a powerful insight into the War on Drugs and its nefarious effects on the U.S. criminal justice system. Following the screening, an expert panel will lead a discussion on what can be done to fix the broken system.
The Panel Moderator will be Michael Davis, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. The panelists include U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison (MN-5); State Rep. Raymond Dehn (DFL-59B); and Emily Baxter, Director of Public Policy and Advocacy on the Council on Crime and Justice.
