ST. PAUL (Jan. 15, 2014) — Hmong families who have a child with an intellectual or developmental disability are invited to the Hmong Family Group, a free networking group from The Arc Greater Twin Cities.
The Hmong Family Group is specifically for families of children who attend St. Paul Public Schools. It meets one Friday per month from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the St. Paul Public Schools Administration Building, 360 Colborne St., St. Paul. Meeting dates are Jan. 17, Feb. 7, Mar. 7, Apr. 11 and May 2.
The entire family is welcome to the group’s meetings. While parents attend the informational segment of the meeting, children enjoy games and activities. Meals, transportation, interpretation and childcare are provided at no cost to families.
