The Japan American Society of Minnesota presents its 14th Annual Mondale Award and Scholarship Dinner Gala on Saturday, Oct 29, 2011, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Edina Country Club.
The 2011 Mondale Award for Japan – Minnesota Partnership will be presented to Takuzo Ishida at the Gala event. Ishida retired from 3M, Imation, and Kodak and served as a business leader between Japan and Minnesota. He has been an active leader in the Japanese community and is the founder of the Minneapolis Japanese School.
The Keynote Speaker will be Mr. Roger Hale, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Ploughshares Fund, and Former President and CEO of the Tennant Company.
Roger Hale’s résumé lists more than two decades of CEO experience and directorships for five highly regarded local companies: St. Paul Companies, Valspar Corporation, Donaldson Company, U.S. Bancorp, and Dayton Hudson (now Target Corporation).
The Silent Auction and Raffle will be help to raise money for the Mondale Scholarship Fund.
