ST. PAUL (March 25, 2013) — The three individuals dead after a Sunday afternoon altercation have been positively identified as a Saint Paul couple and the brother of the female victim.
According to the Saint Paul Police Department, after receiving a 911 call regarding the altercation, officers arrived to an apartment building in the 500 block of North Victoria Street about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, and found two men and a woman dead.
Working with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office, investigators have positively identified the woman as Pahnia Yang, 27. The men have been identified as Yang’s brother, Kong Meng Lee, 18, and Chue Lor, 31, who was Yang’s husband.
When officers arrived, they discovered Yang and Lee fatally injured. They also found Lor dead.
The domestic altercation result in the deaths from injuries caused by a sharp object, the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled on Tuesday. The cause and manner of death for the third individual have not been determined.
No other information is expected regarding this incident until toxicology tests are completed. If new information does become available, it will first be publicized through the Saint Paul Police Department’s Twitter account, @sppdpio.
