MINNEAPOLIS (Aug. 4, 2013) — Mrs. Mary Kim Wong, 86, on Minneapolis, attended a Minnesota Lynx women’s professional basketball home game recently at Target Center on Sunday, August 4, 2013. Wong is a regular season ticket holder and has been attending Lynx games since the team was founded in 1999.

Wong immigrated to the USA in 1946 from Toishan, China and has lived in Minnesota since 1967.

The WNBA features 12 teams and is the most successful women’s professional team sports league in the world. It is a unique global sports property combining competition, sportsmanship, and entertainment value with its status as an icon for social change, achievement, and diversity.
