Residents of the City of Brooklyn Park believe diversity enriches a community and that’s why Brooklyn Park is a unique place to live. Join in on the event this Saturday, January 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Community Activity Center Armory Gym, at 5600 – 85th Avenue North for our annual Celebrating the Many Faces of Brooklyn Park event. Admission is free.

The fun-filled family festival is meant to educate, recognize and celebrate the rich and diverse cultures living in Brooklyn Park. There will be everything from a fashion show, to Hmong break-dancers to informational booths. Games, crafts and face painting are available for children.

There will also be food from around the world, with delicacies only costing a quarter per dish. City council members, city staff and community members will also be on hand to answer questions about our new Civic Engagement Initiative and mission statement: “Brooklyn Park, a thriving community inspiring pride, where opportunities exist for all.”
