SHAKOPEE, Minn. (May 11, 2013) — Valleyfair Amusement Park opened for the 2013 summer last week with many exciting additions including a Dinosaurs Alive! exhibit that was created by Daoping Bao.
Daoping Bao is president of Dinoking Tech Inc., a private company categorized under Exhibition Operation and located in Richmond, BC, Canada. Established in 2006, it specializes in exhibition operations.
Guests to Valleyfair will now have an opportunity to step back in time with the addition of Dinosaurs Alive! A multi-sensory and interactive dinosaur park that will allow guests to experience the sights and sounds of over 30 life-sized animated dinosaurs. Each dinosaur is made to replicate nearly every feature of the mammoth creatures that once roamed the Earth 120-million years ago.
Located among five wooded acres, a 2,837 foot path tells the compelling story of how dinosaurs adapted to their world. Highlights of Dinosaurs Alive! include Ruyanogosaurus, standing at over 39-feet tall, 72-feet long and 11.5-feet wide; a kids’ dig area, excavation site replica and Dinostore for dinosaur souvenirs and merchandise.
With the addition of Dinosaurs Alive!, Valleyfair’s catering is now relocated to the area near Steel Venom. Picnic Point is a three-acre expansion that will provide all-new catering facilities, a picnic pavilion and amenities to accommodate groups without leaving the fun atmosphere of the Park.
Valleyfair is known for rollercoasters and rides, but our Live Entertainment is just as thrilling with the addition of five new shows. From today’s pop hits to music from across the pond, Valleyfair’s shows will keep everyone entertained during their visit. Added to the line-up are SMASH!, British Invasion, Street Beat and Charlie Brown’s Jungle Journey.
To help cure the winter blues, Valleyfair has extended their operating hours today and the following Saturday, May 18. Guests will enjoy more thrills and fun when Valleyfair is open from 10:00am – 10:00pm
Valleyfair is located 25 minutes southwest of the Twin Cities on County Road 101, just east of Shakopee, Minn. For more information, directions or to purchase tickets or season passes in advance, please visit valleyfair.com or call 952-445-6500.
