MINNEAPOLIS — The U.S. China Business Connections will hold its monthly breakfast network and presentation on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., at International Market Square, Studio 185, 2nd Floor, 275 Market St. Minneapolis.
The guest presenter is Tom Stinson, Professor, University of Minnesota, Dept. of Applied Economics. He will speak on the topic, “Minnesota Makes and China Buys: But How Much and What?”
Stinson will examine Minnesota export data to see how important exports to China are to the state’s economy and how the relationship has changed over time. His background includes service as Minnesota’s State Economist from 1987 to 2013.
Breakfast and networking will run from 7:30 to 7:50 a.m., followed by welcome and introductions from 7:50 to 8 a.m..
The presentation will run from 8 to 9 a.m. Optional networking will continue following the meeting adjourning.
