US China Business Connections will hold its next monthly breakfast networking meeting Wednesday, June 4, 2014, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the University of St. Thomas, Opus Hall, Minneapolis campus, Room 201.
The guest speaker will be Ben Brown, who is with Chengdu, Sichuan China based BoHong Group. He will speak on the topic, “Understanding your Chinese Partner: Business from the Chinese Perspective.”
Brown is currently lead of projects on JV negotiations, researching LEAN implementation in corporate environments, and initiatives to leverage post-acquisition global competitive advantage. The presentation will bring the perspective of the Chinese company as it relates to sourcing, Chinese perceptions, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions.
Brown will share some of the common mistakes and misperceptions U.S. companies have when dealing and working with Chinese businesses.
The $35 fee includes a light breakfast. Students and members may attend free.
