U.S. / China Business Connections will host the 2011 Harbin – North America Business for the Future Seminar, from September 19-22 in Harbin, China. Harbin became a sister city to Minneapolis since 1992. Local businesses and government officials have been invited to participate in this event because of the sister city connection.
The seminar is an effort to promote partnerships, joint ventures, investment opportunities and other bilateral business relationships. Industries of focus include, but are not limited to agriculture, information technology, life sciences, and manufacturing.
Harbin’s other North American sister cities, Fairfax County and Edmonton, Alberta, Canada have also been invited to participate in the seminar.
UCBC is working with CIAC Travel for arrangements and there is planning to arrange for at least a few more days of travel. There is no registration cost for the conference. Participants will be responsible for payment for airfare and accommodations.
