MINNEAPOLIS -— North Central Minority Supplier Development Council will discuss growth and expansion plans at its Town Hall meeting on Feb. 20 at Best Buy Headquarters in Richfield.
NCMSDC is the newly launched name of the organization, which reflects one blended council of the Midwest and Wisconsin affiliates of the National Minority Supplier Development Council. NCMSDC covers five territories—Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
The NCMSDC’s mission is to provide business development services to corporate members and certified minority business enterprise to enhance relationships and maximize business opportunities. Driven by the National council’s goal to reduce the number of affiliate councils from 35 to 24, the extensive restructuring process focuses on increasing value to Corporate Members and Certified MBEs through a consistent level of service across the network.
The NCMSDC Leadership includes Duane Ramseur, President and CEO; Dr. Floyd Rose, Vice President; D. Craig Taylor (University of Minnesota), Chairman of the Board.
The NCMSDC will continue to operate offices in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. In addition to Mr. Ramseur and Dr. Rose, staff includes: McKay Crow Shoe, Operations Manager and Heather Olson, Certifications and Corporate Director.
The NCMSDC’s region is extremely strong and supported both regionally and nationally by its corporate members.
