Dr. Kevin Le, Chief Engineering Officer of Luraco Technologies announced this week that the company has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force.
Luraco was selected for a Phase I contract to develop an advanced, reliable, and cost effective communication link for a distributed control and sensing nodes within high temperature aircraft turbine engine environments. The communication link will utilize a standardized data bus and open communication protocol whose software and hardware requirements are sufficiently limited such that cost-effective high temperature integrated circuits can be used to implement the communication architecture.
Luraco will perform research and analyze the effects that both high temperatures have on the communication channel of different distributed engine control and health monitoring topologies, and expected channel delays and packet dropout rates have on the data bus throughput and stability of the distributed network variations.
Luraco Technologies, Inc. is an Arlington, Texas based High Tech Company that has an R & D division that develops new technologies for the military and defense industry. The company is currently under Phase 1 and Phase II programs that are funded by the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.
Luraco also has been supplying the Beauty Industry with superior quality jets for pedicure spas, air purification systems, and other innovative products since 2005. www.luraco.com
