We are very pleased to welcome Ichiro Sone, the Chief Executive Director of JETRO Chicago to this JASM Corporate Roundtable program. The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is a Japanese governmental organization whose mission is “to promote mutual trade and investment between Japan and the rest of the world.”
Mr. Ichiro Sone will join us in a discussion of recent economic developments in Japan and how U.S. Companies can increase their effectiveness in promoting their goods and services to Japan.
What areas of the Japanese economy are increasingly open to investment from the U.S.? What are some of the challenges that face Japanese companies in the current economic situation in Asia and the Pacific? How is JETRO positioned to assist American companies in their Japan business initiatives?
These are some of the questions that will be addressed by Mr. Sone in the business roundtable discussion.
