US China Business Connections will hold its next monthly breakfast networking event on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the University of St. Thomas, Opus Hall, Room 201, 1000 LaSalle Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55403.
The February guest speaker is Sandra Brokema, Manager of Business Development, Great River Energy. She will present on “Great River Energy’s DryFine Technology reaches China and beyond — a fascinating journey into the international technology spotlight.”
Broekema brings more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry focusing on Research and Development and new product commercialization in solar, wind and power generation. Great River Energy signed an intellectual property and technology transfer agreement with Tangshan Shenzhou Manufacturing Group that launched an innovative electrical generation and transmission cooperative.
Broekema will explain how Great River Energy leveraged local and international resources to conquer cultural and other challenges.
Networking, breakfast, welcome and introductions will run until 8 a.m., followed by the presentation until 9 a.m., followed by additional networking.
