US-China Business Connections will hold its March Networking and Breakfast event on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the University of St. Thomas, Opus Hall, Minneapolis, Room 201.
The guest presenter is Brant Schulz, who is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Control Products, Inc. and responsible for establishing its finance and human resources teams in its Suzhou, China operation.
Schulz will speak on the topic of “Developing Business In China: A Seven Year Retrospective.” His focus will be on: Guanxi American style; Building value vs. making a profit; Human resources from the ground up; Different problems have similar solutions; Turning cultural mountains into molehills with shared experiences; and Four ways to say yes.
The Networking and Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by Welcome and Introductions at 7:50 a.m. The Presentation begins at 8 a.m., followed by optional networking at 9 a.m.
The event fee is $30 and students get in free.
