US-China Business Connections will hold its next monthly breakfast networking meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the University of St. Thomas, Opus Hall, 1000 LaSalle Avenue, Room 201, Minneapolis, MN 55403.
Amy Xu, IP attorney for Dorsey & Whitney, will moderate a discussion on this month’s topic: “Cyber and Digital Asset Security.”
The guest speakers include Scott Singer, CSIO for ParSys, and current Executive Officer for Commander Pacific Fleet Maritime Operations Center, and Mike Mantzke, CEO Global Data Sciences Inc. The two will talk about how to make certain your electronic communications and any Intellectual Property (IP) you need to share in a printed or recorded fashion are protected.
Singer is responsible for supporting the communications and cyber security needs of the Pacific Fleet. Mantzke is a security and data forensics expert who has worked on projects with federal law enforcement agencies.
The Networking and Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m., followed by a Welcome and Introductions at 7:50. The Presentation begins at 8 a.m., and will conclude with a Q&A until the meeting adjourns at 9 a.m. with an optional networking session to follow.
