Mu Daiko and On Ensemble together again
With Taiko Groove, Mu aims to expand and deepen our audience’s taiko experience, as well as our own.
Imagine Mu Daiko’s dynamic taiko drumming and choreography infused with On Ensemble’s soaring fue melodies, throat singing, koto playing, funky meters and awesome grooves.
This collaboration is a perfect opportunity to explore the musical diversity and depth of taiko performance. It also breathes fresh ideas and techniques into our taiko repertoire.

Taiko Groove: Pay what you can
We’re calling it “Pay What You Can” but really it’s “Pay What You Want.” In the interest of giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy Taiko Groove, we are opening up the Saturday matinee to all, regardless of how much they choose to pay.
Tickets normally run $25; you can pay $0 or you can pay $100. We believe that no matter what you pay, you are joining us to make the arts more accessible to the Twin Cities, which is just good for everybody.
Due to limited seating, we still suggest reserving your tickets online; at the end of your order, you will be given the opportunity to enter an amount of your choice. You can also give as you’d like at the theater!
Thursday, November 5 at 7:00 PM
Friday, November 6 at 7:00 PM
Saturday, November 7 at 2:00 PM
(pay what you can show)
Saturday, November 7 at 7:00 PM
Sunday, November 8 at 2:00 PM
