Indian Music Society of Minnesota is celebrating 32 Years of Bringing the Best in Indian Classical Music with its next Spring 2012 Season concert at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at HHH Cowles Auditorium, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
The concernt will feature Sarod (Hindustani instrumental) recital by Alam Khan, son of the legendary Ustad Ali Akbar Khan.
Khan is an accomplished artist himself whose performances have received high acclaim all over the world. He will be accompanied on the Tabla by Indranil Mallick, a promising young Tabla player.

The next Spring Season IMSOM concert will be Sunday, May 20, 5:00 p.m. at HHH Cowles Auditorium, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. It will feature Veena and Kumaresh violinist Jayanthi, with Neyveli Narayanan on Mridangam and Trichy Krishnaswamy on Ghatam.
