In its celebration of bringing the best in Indian classical music to Minnesota for the past 31 years, the Indian Music Society of Minnesota presents young maestros Ritesh and Rajnish Mishra are representing the sixth generation of great musicians, including the world renowned Pts. Rajan and Sajan Mishra.
They will be accompanied by Sanatan Goswami on the Harmonium and by Subhen Chatterjee on the Tabla on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. in the Recital Hall of St. Catherine University, 2004 Randolph Ave., St Paul, MN, 55105.
IMSOM’s Fall 2011 Concert Series has been made possible, in part,by funds provided by the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council’s Arts Activities Support Grant, through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature, the Honeywell “Dollars for Doers” Grant, the Xcel Energy “Dollars for Doing” Grant, and IMSOM members and donors.
