Last night, Far East Movement and Rémy Martin XO hosted a holiday party, dubbed Dirty Bass Museum, for friends and fans of the LA-based electro pop quartet. The party was held at Hunter Studios in Downtown Los Angeles, and featured an art installation by Robert Vargas and custom low rider cars.
Guests were encouraged to bring gifts to donate to Toys for Tots, and the band later presented a check for $5,000 to support the organization. A mix of DJ’s, including DJ Quik, were on hand to spin for the party which ended with a set from Far East Movement’s DJ Virman, who was joined by his band mates and sang along to their hits “Like a G6” and “Rocketeer.”
The band also gave their guests a preview of their new music video, “Jello” off their second studio album, “Dirty Bass,” which will be released in early 2012. Winners of MTV’s Americans Best Dance Crew, who often travel with the band, were also at the party and performed for guests.
Guests were treated to Rémy Martin XO cocktails including the Rémy Martin Julep and The Versailles, along with food from the #1 Taco Shop.
